Mission: Love From America engages youth and global communities in community-driven projects rooted in place-based learning to build awareness, deepen understanding, and grow collectiveness to address system-level inequities in access, systemic knowledge, and visibility

Vision: In LFA’s vision, the expansion of the Edina Global Scholars program, an initiative that prepares secondary students for next-generation careers through leadership development, civic engagement, and global competency, will reimagine global education within Minnesota.
Through its use of intersecting place-based learning and community-driven projects, we envision that LFA:
-
We will support our community partners and youth in navigating and accessing culturally aware resources.
-
Cultivate our systems to engage and adapt to varying needs, thereby enhancing systemic knowledge.
-
Increase our exposure and interaction with diverse audiences to address visibility.
Thereby increasing LFA’s capacity to establish a framework for culturally relevant and reciprocal travel experiences while ethically integrating with international communities.
As a result, LFA can confidently support communities as they engage, navigate, and address varying global inequities in access, systemic knowledge, and visibility.
