Our Projects
At Love From America, our projects embody a commitment to equity, cultural exchange, and community-led learning. Each initiative is rooted in place-based exploration and co-created with local partners to foster mutual understanding and sustainable impact.

Our first projects root our work in local knowledge while creating access, improving systemic knowledge, and growing visibility in Zimbabwe. Here's a glimpse into the current work of Love From America.
Ethandweni Children's Home
Zimbabwe
This project will be tackling the widespread issue of child abandonment, prevalent in many under-resourced communities. Our focus will be on funding the necessary budget and training for the implementation of new social-emotional counselors. Counseling is vital for this vulnerable population of children, but also allows a designated point of contact in improving the knowledge of the surrounding community regarding sexual education, preventative measures, and human trafficking.

Expanding and Creating new Global Scholars programs across the Twin Cities Metro
Minnesota
Through our Global Scholars Learning Programs, students engage in culturally responsive curriculum, travel to LFA partner sites beginning in Zimbabwe, and create storytelling projects that celebrate resilience and community. These experiences connect local classrooms in Minnesota with global partnerships, helping young people build meaningful cross-cultural relationships while ensuring that global learning is rooted in equity, authenticity, and shared growth.
